Leopold Gold Lion Sculpture

Every morning, Leopold makes his rounds. Past the books, a brief inspection of the vase, then a pause to consider whether anything has moved without his permission.

He takes this work seriously. The extravagant mane helps, as does the measured stride. Nobody has had the heart to tell him that his entire territory can be dusted in under a minute.

Made from resin in a gold-toned finish, Leopold has a deeply sculpted mane, a curling tail and one forepaw stepping forwards. Light picks up the flowing detail around his face and chest, giving his small stature a rather substantial presence.

Set him along a bookshelf or console, where his long silhouette can be seen between taller objects. Dark timber, well-thumbed books and a favourite framed print would make a perfectly respectable kingdom.

He will, of course, want to inspect them first.
