Henry & Montgomery Gold Hedgehogs
Description
The mushroom was Henry's idea. He found it, cleared the leaves from around it, and had every intention of sitting on it himself. Then Montgomery arrived.
So this is where they have settled. Henry lies flat on his stomach at the base of the toadstool with the expression of someone who has stopped arguing, and Montgomery sits three centimetres above him, surveying a kingdom he did nothing whatsoever to earn.
Cast in resin and hand-painted in metallic gold, with the spines deeply textured and the gold worked down into the recesses so it glows rather than glares.
They belong somewhere they'll be discovered rather than displayed — a bookshelf, the corner of a hall table, half-lost in trailing greenery.
Hand-painted, so no two pairs are quite alike. Some Montgomerys are just smugger than others.
