Description

The bird landed on the lid and stayed. Wings folded, gold from beak to tail, entirely unbothered by the lotus and scrolling foliage painted in cobalt beneath him — and now he is the handle, so there is no getting into the pot without going through him first.

Clementine is a small lidded porcelain pot, densely hand-painted in blues that run from pale wash through to deep cobalt within the same pattern.

Small enough for rings, cotton buds, sugar or paperclips. Handsome enough that it doesn't much matter which.

Hand-painted, so the pattern meets itself a little differently on every piece.
